Meet the Innkeeper

Q: How long have you been in the hospitality industry?
A: 7 years
Q: What do you like about Esplanade Suites?
A: I absolutely love my job and the Esplanade Suites, I wouldn't want to be doing anything else for my profession. I get to meet the best people, it is amazing to talk to people from all around the world and their families. My favorite thing of all is when their checking out and both of us feel like were saying "See you Later" to family members, we never say "Goodbye", it is always, "How long until we get to see you again?" I love people.
Q: What are your favorite things about Wildwood?
A: Wildwood is a seasonal town, the season is extending a little farther each year. The best thing about Wildwood is they recognize their guests come in all ages, nationalalities, and have different likes and dislikes, therefore Wildwood has done an excellent job of providing a venue for all people of all ages and backgrounds. Bike riding, rollerblading, running or walking on the 5 mile boardwalk is Amazing for sightseeing, excercising or simply walking with friends and family for a beautiful stroll. ¬I LOVE my town and wish everyone can come and visit with us just once and they too will fall in love with Wildwood and the Esplanade Suites.
Q: What are your hobbies outside of managing Esplanade Suites?
A: I have 3 sons, and 4 grandchildren that anytime we can manage between all of our schedules to spend together we make the most of and this is my ultimate favorite thing. My other favorite things is riding my bike through the Wildwoods, trying to sing, dancing, and just reading a book on the beach. Traveling to all of our Beachtree/Tan resorts, I have set a goal to try to get to everyone of our hotels in the next 3 years, this is one goal I intend to make because all of my travels with this company have been the best times with my family and friends.
Q: What is a popular event/activity guests shouldn’t miss out on while staying at Esplanade Suites?
A: The Veterans of War was completed this year; it's a phenomenal Veterans Wall of Remembrance that is free and you can spend as much time there as you want. There is a FREE Cape May County Zoo, yes FREE, and a must see! There are also playgrounds and picnic areas, it is simply unbelievable and kids of all ages have a great time. Wildwoods are known for their FREE beaches and there is FREE fireworks and movies on the beach every Friday night in season. There is a 5 mile stretch of boardwalk with rides, games, wax museum and plenty of restaurants. The nightlife in Wildwood is always turned onto the latest and the greatest of sound, our 50's theme is through-out the town from the restaurants, to the hotels and our entertainment. Every weekend there is a different celebration/convention, from firemen, Irish, bikers, Seafare Festival, Kite Festival, marble contests, cheerleading, band, wrestling & basketball competitions, Roar to the Shore Fundraiser for the local Children's hospital, Classic Car Show, and the 50's, 60's weekends that always have the greatest performers from that era. You will never be bored in the Wildwoods, I'm not and I guarantee you will have a great time. Come and join in on the fun!
